Have been "retired" for 8 months.  Ok, that's fine..let's move on. Time to get back to work....not just for financial reasons either.  Like my grandson observed yesterday (the first full day of summer vacation), staying home all day can be boring. Of course, its not like I'm literally doing "nothing". I've done more cooking in the last 8 months than any 8 months prior.  That may or may not be a good thing. It also means I've done more dishes, too.

And I've done more reading, which is a good thing. I've discovered Zinio...magazine "subscriptions" through my library. What a great service!  I could never afford to buy all the mags I read if I had to buy them individually.  I'm reading mags that I probably wouldn't have even picked up before.  I can now let my curiosity run.
